Are fo.reca.st surveys free?

Yes. All current features are available for free. After the leaving of the beta phase, we plan to introduce a "premium" account type with more functions available.
To pay the hosting bills (or better said, a part of them) we will probably use in the future some context ads (something that is not very annoying). Ads will be placed only on full page views, not in plugged views.

What are the functional limitations?

Here are all existing limits regarding to survey features:

Maximal number of surveys per account	10
Maximal number of answers per survey	unlimited
Maximal number of questions per survey	30
Maximal number of answer options per question	10
Maximal number of media items per question	10

Who can participate in my survey?

If you publish your survey as a full page view, you can post the link on your website or in your blog or you can send this link per email on possible participants. Every who can get this survey link can participate in your survey.
If you use a plugged view to publish your survey, you allow every visitor to take part in your survey.

What are the system requirements?

To create the surveys in the design workbench you need an up-to-date version of your favorite browser with Javascript enabled (which is the default configuration).

For participation in a survey is almost every browser sufficient, also an old one. Javascript support is also not required.
