What are feedback summary charts?

This fo.reca.st surveys feature presents the results of your survey to the public using color charts. For every question of the survey and all of its answer options statistical response information will be displayed in that view. Charts of different types (2D and 3D-pie, horizontal and vertical bar) visualize that information.

How can I enable a public access to the results of my survey?

Select your survey in My surveys and change to the General tab. Select there yes in the Public results option.

Where can I find the feedback summary of my survey?

Select Feedback in the navigation menu and then the survey from the list. In the Results tab of the next view you can see the standard evalutation of the user answers. This view is available only for the survey's owner. Change to the Publish tab of the feedback view to specify the publish options and see the preview of the feedback summary charts.

What publish options can I specify?

The publish options defines some display properties of your feedback summary. In the Publish view you can specify the following options:
  • width and height specify the dimension (in pixels) of your summary view. Use the preview below to check if all summary information fits in the view. If not, increase the width and height values.
  • chart type defines the type of the diagram, the following types are currently supported:
    • pie
    • 3D pie
    • horizontal bar
    • vertical bar
    • random - the type of the chart will be selected randomly in the runtime
  • data mode specify if the count of answers or percent values should be displayed in the summary

How can I publish the results of my survey?

After you specified the publish options you have two ways to publish summary to the public:
  • as embedded view - copy the HTML-snippet shown under HTML code and paste it into your blog or website
  • as link - use the HTML link shown in the Link field to reference the feedback summary. You can send that link per e-mail or post in your website
